Shalom! I realize it’s been some time since I’ve posted new content. The main reason for my absence is that I’ve been focused on finishing my new book, which is a detailed study of Jesus’s statement on the Law in Matthew 5:17-20.
In the book, I engage with recent scholarship on this passage and demonstrate how Jesus affirms the ongoing relevance of the Law for his followers. Additionally, I devote considerable time to thoroughly addressing antinomian objections to my interpretation.
When will the book be released? Well, I recently sent the rough draft to a few colleagues for their feedback, and I hope to have it finished and published within the next two or three months. So, keep an eye out!
By the way, if you are a paid subscriber or have donated to my work, I will be contacting you to get your mailing address so that I can send you a free copy when the book is ready. If you want to be on the list to receive a free copy, consider becoming a paid subscriber.
I can’t wait for the book to be released, and I pray that it will be a blessing to you.
How to Be Truly Happy (My Valedictorian Speech)
In other exciting news, I have officially graduated! I now hold a BA in Biblical Studies, and my next step is to work toward an MA.
I was honored to be selected as the Valedictorian of my graduating class at Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary. At the graduation ceremony, I had the opportunity to deliver a short speech. In my address, I discussed Psalm 1 and emphasized the true happiness (“blessedness”) that comes from diligently studying the Word.
I hope you enjoy the speech!
